Capital Ballroom is the
longest running, most popular, ballroom dance/social club in the Sacramento area. It
has been in operation for over thirty years. Our club activities offer a way for
single, divorced, or widowed people of all ages to meet others of similar ages and
interests. Our Sunday Dance attracts over 130 people (every Sunday)
who come to practice and enjoy their latest ballroom dance steps. You do not have
to be a "studio" dancer to have a good time at our dances. You
can visit, have a drink or two at our no host bar and dance as much as you choose.
If you would like to make new friends, meet new people, or just get more fun out of life,
you owe it to yourself to check us out. It's later than you think! Why not

our Sunday Dance is held at the Carmichael Elks Lodge at 5631
Cypress Avenue.

· Dance music from the 40's, 50,s to the present.
Electric Slide and Samba line dance

Capital Ballroom offers two hours of
free Ballroom dance lessons every Sunday from 5 to 7 pm prior to the dance. Our instructor, Shirley
Hartman (Best in Sacramento) teaches a different ballroom dance each
month. She makes learning to dance very enjoyable as many of her many students will
attest. You
do not need to bring a dance partner to participate.
